Marjamaa Engineering Incorporated was established as an Electrical Engineering Consulting alternative to large scale design houses.  We are a small company specializing in embedded product design and development for anyone who has an electronic design that needs work but does not need the expensive overhead of a large scale design house.  

With over 15 years of experience designing and manufacturing various embedded products, we can help you with all of your electrical engineering design needs.  We offer full electrical PCB design/layout, embedded firmware including 8-bit,16-bit, and 32-bit applications, visual software, test station design and manufacture, literature, advice, research, small prototype assembly runs, patent work, and of course Certifications.  Certification work has ranged from simple electrical immunity tests to full scale Intrinsically Safe product line certification for products used throughout the world.

We offer consulting on any type of project but we have a rare specialized offering in Hazardous location/explosive atmospheres product design and certification.  HazLoc consulting is based on 9 years of experience developing Ex products and then certifying them at internationally recognized certification bodies.  

Along with the hazardous location applications, we also have extensive experience with various LED lighting applications, wireless networking, battery powered applications, Solar, lasers, and many others.
